Two-time medalist of the Olympic Games-2020 in Tokyo Liudmyla Luzan won another gold medal at the stage of the World Cup in canoeing, which continues in the Polish city of Poznan.

The 26-year-old Ukrainian showed the best result in a single canoe at a distance of 500 meters.

Luzan won with a score of 2.12,92, ahead of Sofia Kishban of Hungary (2.16,85) and Vanessa Toth of Croatia (2.17,39).

For Lyudmila, this is the second gold medal of this stage of the World Cup. The day before, she won gold at a distance of 200 meters.

Luzan is a silver and bronze medalist at the 2020 Olympic Games, two-time European champion, multiple medalist of the European Championships.

Earlier it was reported that at the end of April, Luzan withdrew from the Ukrainian Rowing Cup due to a missile strike on Uman. The athlete was not far from the house hit by a Russian missile.

Recall that recently Ukraine for the first time in 9 years won the "gold" of the European Championship in academic rowing.
