Deepak reveals what Dhoni said after throwing two consecutive beamers

Chennai Super Kings star fast bowler Deepak Chahar (CSK) first joined the CSK team in 2018. Since then Deepak has been a part of the CSK team. Deepak gets a lot of support from Dhoni. In the 2019 IPL, Deepak took a total of 17 wickets in 7 matches with an economy of 47.22. This season Deepak played a great game. But during this IPL season, there was also an incident that made a lot of headlines. In fact, during the match against Punjab Kings, Deepak threw two beamers at the batsman while bowling. After which Dhoni became angry and also reprimanded him. Now while talking at an event, Deepak has mentioned that incident and told what Mahi told him after seeing my bowling.

On the show 'Breakfast with Champions', Deepak talked about this and said, 'Mahi bhai did not make me bowl in death. But Bravo was injured in that match. In such a situation, he asked me to bowl in the death overs. At that time Sarfaraz was batting at the crease. Dhoni bhai (Dhoni) never allowed me to bowl in death overs. But that day I had to bowl. They saw me bowling at the nets, they were happy with me. When I was asked to bowl, I was also keen to bowl in the death overs.

Deepak further said that those matches were a very tight match. In the last 3 overs, 40 to 42 runs were needed. I threw a slow ball to Sarfaraz, but while bowling, my leg was twisted, due to which the ball became full toss. The same thing happened to me on the next ball. This time also the ball was high full toss. I threw two consecutive balls like a beamer. I started feeling that my death over career was over. At the same time, Mahi bhai came to me and said to me, 'By the way, you become one and a half shanas. You all know how he's throwing the ball...", when Mahi bhai was telling me these things, I was looking down and thinking that now I will stop bowling in the death overs. But I gave only 5 runs in that over. Later, Mahi bhai hugged me in the dressing room."

Let me tell you that even though two consecutive balls were like beamer, the umpire did not stop Deepak from bowling, in fact, the balls that Deepak threw were slow.
