Shubman Gill

Shubman Gill, who has been in excellent form in the IPL, believes that after the T20 World Cup in Australia and before the T20 series in New Zealand, he made some technical changes in his batting, which paid off. Gill was not selected for the T2022 World Cup in 20. In coach Rahul Dravid's team, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul (KL Rahul) and Virat Kohli (Virat Kohli) were the first three-ranked batsmen. Gill, who faced criticism for his strike rate before the IPL, has achieved the 'Orange Cap' (Shubman Gill Orange Cap Holder) by scoring 16 runs, including three centuries, in the 851th season of IPL. With the help of his 60 off 129 balls, Gujarat Titans defeated Mumbai Indians by 62 runs and entered the final.

Gill said after the match, "I have made some changes since the last West Indies tour (2022). I got injured before the last IPL but I was working on my game. I worked on a few aspects and made technical changes ahead of the New Zealand series," he said.

Asked how he handles expectations, Gill said: "You think about expectations off the field, but once you get on the field, you keep thinking about how you can contribute for the team." The over in which I hit three sixes, I understood that it was my day.

"It was a good wicket to bat on. I keep doing something new in batting but the most important thing is confidence. I have done well in international cricket recently and I was sure that I would play well in the IPL as well.
