What a win for Gujarat Titans! Brilliant performances from Shubman Gill & Mohit Sharma. Tilak Varma & Surya were exceptional as well. CSK vs GT in finals! 🔥

Mohit Sharma gave the best performance of his career, taking five wickets for 2 runs in 2.10 overs. Apart from them, Rashid Khan and Mohammed Shami got two wickets each.

Mohit Sharma said after the match-

"I was a little lucky to get five wickets so quickly. The ball was skidding well, but the way Sky and Tilak were batting, we had a meeting in which we discussed that we should not try too hard against Surya, it makes things easier for him. We felt that if they don't get out, the game could be over. I had decided that if I am bowling against Sky, I will not experiment much. "

So the idea was to throw length balls. Even if we get six sixes, it doesn't matter because we felt it was the toughest length for him to play his shots. The match wasn't over at that time, but that wicket (Surya's wicket) meant we were in the game. Taking that wicket was a big relief. I thought we could only imagine the final after that last wicket, we have won and lost matches here at GT in the past under disappointing conditions, so it never ends until it's over.
