The Ukrainian national rowing team won the "gold" of the European Championship-2023, which takes place in the Slovenian city of Bled.

The gold medals of the continental championship were won by the women's doubles four consisting of Kateryna Dudchenko, Anastasia Kozhenkova, Natalia Dovhodko and Daryna Verkhohlyad.

On the course, the "blue-yellow" crew bypassed the representatives of the Netherlands and Great Britain, who have silver and bronze, respectively.

For Ukraine, this "gold" was the first at the European Rowing Championships since 2014.

It was in this type of program at the continental championships that Ukrainian rowers won 11 years ago.

Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian Lyudmila Luzan won gold at the stage of the World Cup in canoeing.
