MS Dhoni
Chennai Super Kings (CSK), captained by MS Dhoni, is one of the most successful teams in the history of the Indian Premier League. Prior to the current season, CSK had reached the final on nine occasions and have won the title four times under Dhoni's captaincy. On Tuesday, CSK (CSK Beat GT in Qualifier 1) reached the final for the 15th time by defeating defending champions Gujarat Titans by 1 runs in Qualifier 10. Notably, only Rohit Sharma (5 times) has won more IPL titles as captain than Dhoni.
After CSK reached the final for a record fifth time, an old conversation between MS Dhoni and veteran commentator Harsha Bhogle has been doing the rounds on social media. In the video, Bhogle asked Dhoni to explain the secret behind CSK reaching the playoffs almost every season. Dhoni has reinvented himself this season as a lower-order batsman at number eight and hit some big sixes.
Harsha Bhogle: How do you manage to make it to the Playoffs every year?
MS Dhoni: If I tell everyone what it is, they will not buy me in the auction.

There were speculations that this could be Dhoni's last year as a player in the IPL. The former India captain on Tuesday said he will take time before the December mini-auction to decide on the future of his game. When Dhoni asked presenter Harsha Bhogle if the play-off match was his last match at home, Dhoni said, "I don't know, I have eight, nine months to decide."
"The mini-auction will be around December, so why take a headache right now. I have enough time to decide. "I will always be there for CSK whether in the game or sitting somewhere. I don't really know, but clearly it takes a heavy toll. I have been out of the house since January, training since March, so we will see."
