[Sports Center/Comprehensive Report] The NBA announced today the MVP winner of the year. Joel Embiid of the Sixers officially won the award today after losing to Nikola Jokic for two consecutive years. Winning the MVP award also shattered Jokic's dream of 3 consecutive championships.

Embiid played 66 games this season, averaging a career-high 33.1 points in 34.6 minutes, 10.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.7 hot pots. He also led the Sixers to 54 wins and 28 games with outstanding performance. Lost, ranked third in the East in the regular season.

Embiid's award also prevented Jokic from becoming the fourth player in history to win the MVP three times in a row. Jokic played 69 games this season, averaging 24.5 points, 11.8 rebounds, 9.8 assists, and 1.3 steals in 33.7 minutes , 0.7 hot pot, the Nuggets ranked first in the Western Conference with 53 wins and 29 losses under his leadership.
