Eddie Hearn, the promoter of former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, has revealed who could be the Briton's next opponent after

winning

his recent fight against American Jermaine Franklin.

According to him, Joshua will most likely fight his compatriot Dillian Whyte in the next fight.

"I think there's a lot of people who think Dillian Whyte would have a great chance in this fight. So I think it's a big fight. But there's still a lot of negotiations ahead.

Can I say he's the favorite?

Maybe if we don't fight Wilder or Fury.

We'll have to think things through because Dillian would also like to fight before a potential fight with Joshua," Hearn told iD Boxing.

Let's assume that Joshua and White already met in the ring in 2015.

Then Anthony won by technical knockout in the 7th round.

  • 33-year-old Joshua has 25 wins (22 by knockout) and three losses.

The fight against Franklin was AJ's first after two consecutive defeats by Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.

  • 34-year-old White has 29 wins (19 by knockout) and three losses.

In his last fight, Dillian defeated the same Franklin by split decision last November.

It was previously reported that after his victorious return to the ring, Joshua

challenged

the WBC title holder Tyson Fury.
