After the final gong, the British and the American had a fight - Joshua patted his opponent on the back of the head with his glove, which Franklin did not like.

The referee and teams of boxers had to intervene in the situation to quell the passions.

In the end, the judges unanimously gave victory to Joshua: 118-111, 117-111 and 117-111.

Let's add that this will be AJ's first fight after two consecutive defeats against Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.

In August of last year, Joshua 

 Usyk in a rematch and was unable to regain the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO belts, which he lost as a result of the first fight with the Ukrainian in September 2021.
