Former India cricketer Salim Durrani has passed away at the age of 88.

He breathed his last on Sunday morning at his Jamnagar home due to age-related ailments, his family sources confirmed.

He was 88 years old.

Durrani played 29 Tests for India and took 75 wickets.

With the bat in hand, he also played an innings of 104 against the West Indies.

He scored a total of 1202 runs with his bat.

Please tell that Salim Durrani played his first Test match for India on 1 January 1960 against Australia at Brabourne Stadium.
