IPL 2023:

Axar Patel, who performed brilliant all-rounder for Team India, will now be seen in a new role for Delhi Capitals in IPL (IPL 2023). He is thrilled about his new role and says it is a reward for all the hard work he has put in for the franchise over the last few seasons.

All-rounder Akshar said in a video posted on Delhi's Twitter handle, "From my point of view, if you have got this role, it means that you have progressed as a senior player."

It is like a reward for what you have done for the team.

I am thrilled about this role.

He said, “Most of our team is the same, the same players have been playing for the last three-four years.

We know our players very well and that is the important point. Captain) has been appointed.

Akshar said that he will fully support the new captain Warner.

He said, "David is a talented player.

I will give him such an environment in which he can use his potential to the best.

It is a completely different feeling when you join the Delhi Capitals camp.

I have been with the franchise for three-four years and it feels like home. The defending champions (DC vs GT) will play Gujarat Titans on the ground.
