Former world heavyweight champion

Anthony Joshua

commented on the possibility of a third fight with the holder of the WBO, WBA, IBO and IBF titles

Oleksandr Usyk.

The British boxer said that he would gladly agree to enter the ring against the Ukrainian for the third time.

"I've lost to Usyk twice. I've let a lot of people down, so I'm fine with the criticism. I've earned it. I always have high hopes for myself, but Usyk is a really, really strong opponent. I'd definitely enjoy the opportunity to fight him again.

But I finally gave up trying to become an absolute world champion.

Trying to become "absolute" is another headache.

So I'm just going to focus on becoming champion again, take one of the four titles.

I have received a lot of criticism for saying that my priority is to make the most money.

But what's wrong with that?

Here are all of you who have gathered here.

After all, you are also here because of money.

So what's the problem then?

I'm a guy who fights for money.

Therefore, money is a priority.

I'm just trying to be as honest and open as possible with you," BoxingNews24 quoted Joshua as saying.

In August of last year, Joshua

lost to

Usyk in a rematch and was unable to regain the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO belts, which he lost as a result of the first fight with the Ukrainian in September 2021.

AJ will have his next fight on April 1 against American Jermaine Franklin.

For Joshua, this will be the first fight after two consecutive defeats against Usyk.

It was previously reported that Joshua

reacted sharply

to the disruption of the title fight between Usyk and WBC title holder Tyson Fury.

The Ukrainian was supposed to fight with the "Gypsy King" on April 29 for the title of absolute world champion, but the parties could not agree on the terms of the contract for the fight, due to which it

was canceled
