[Reporter Wu Mengru/Taipei Report] In the 18th season of the WSBL Super Basketball League match between Taiyuan and Chunghwa Telecom last Friday, Telecommunications team coach Ke Mengyi yelled loudly and smashed water bottles for questioning the referee's decision. The Basketball Association punished him according to law today. Ke Mengyi was suspended for one game and fined 10,000 yuan.

Taiyuan defeated China Telecom 73:46 last Friday, and there was an episode at the end of the game. The Basketball Association stated that after the meeting of the Disciplinary Committee decided to punish Coach Ke Mengyi with a one-game suspension and a fine of NT$10,000 in accordance with the provisions of Article 3, Item 1 of the SBL & WSBL Event Management Measures, the suspension will be at 1 p.m. on April 1, 2012. The 61st match between Chunghwa Telecom and Taiyuan Textiles in the regular season will be implemented, and the fine must be paid before March 31.
