The youth national team of Ukraine

 (U-21) lost to peers from Italy in a friendly match.

The meeting in Reggio di Calabria ended with a score of 3:1.

The hosts took the lead in the 19th minute thanks to Lovato's effort.

In the second half, "blue and yellow" managed to equalize the score - Kashchuk scored in the 68th minute.

However, the victory still remained for the Italians.

Lorenzo Colombo completed the double, scoring in the 71st and 82nd minutes.

It should be noted that in the match against Italy, the Ukrainian youth team was led by Ruslan Rotan, who only yesterday led the main national team

England at Wembley in the opening match of the Euro 2024 qualifiers.

For the youth national team of Ukraine, this was the second friendly match in March.

Earlier, "blue and yellow" defeated Denmark - 3:2.
