suryakumar yadav's dismissal on zero in three consecutive matches remains a matter of discussion and debate

New Delhi:

The visiting team captured the three ODI series against Australia 2-1 on Wednesday.

The fans are disappointed after the defeat of the hosts and veteran Gavaskar has asked the team to take this defeat seriously before the World Cup to be held at the end of the year.

Many things have remained a topic of discussion after the series defeat, but the most surprising thing that remained in this series is the dismissal of Atishi batsman Suryakumar Yadav's golden duck in three consecutive matches.

Captain Rohit Sharma has defended Suryakumar, but the fans are wondering what happened to Yadav.

However, this is not the first time that an Indian batsman has been dismissed without opening an account in three consecutive innings.

Let us give you detailed information.

1. Jasprit Bumrah

Bumrah has won many matches for India with the ball.

He has taken 121 wickets in 72 ODIs.

It also includes five wickets in the match twice.

However, batting is not his main job.

He has scored 47 runs in these matches at an average of 6.47.

Bumrah was also such a batsman, who got out three times in a row without opening his account.

In the year 2019, Bumrah got a chance to bat thrice and he got out all the three times without opening an account.

2. Ishant Sharma

Lambu Ishant Sharma has made big batsmen drink water with his sharp swing and bounce.

He did a career-best performance by taking 7 wickets for 74 runs against England.

But when batting is not his main job, his hand has also been tight in this department.

In the year 2010-11, in ten months, Ishant played three ODIs against Sri Lanka and Windies and got a duck in all three.

3. Zaheer Khan

lefty pacer has been one of the best pacers of all time in India.

Zaheer played 200 ODIs for India and in this he took 282 wickets.

Took five wickets once.

Zaheer used to do some batting compared to other tailenders, but the record is very bad.

782 runs in 200 ODIs.

His highest is 34 runs.

However, it was the time of 2003-04, when he could not open the account in three consecutive matches.

First he was dismissed for zero in the TVS Cup against Australia, then he scored zero in the next two matches against Pakistan in 2004.

4. Anil Kumble

Anil Kumble played as a batsman till the days of Under-19, while he has also scored a century in the lower order.

Kumble has scored 938 runs in 271 matches with the bat at an average of 10.17.

But in India's tour of England in the year 1996, Kumble also made an unwanted record of being dismissed for zero in three consecutive matches against England and Singer World Series.

He was out on zero in two matches against England, then again in the sixth match against Australia in the World Singer Series, Kumble was out on zero.

4. Even Sachin Tendulkar could not escape,

there is no need to tell anyone what is the status of Sachin Tendulkar in the history of cricket.

Don't know how many records Sachin made in a career of about 24 years, reaching around which any batsman will remain a big challenge.

Sachin took five years and 78 innings to score his first ODI century.

In the year 1994, played an inning of 110 runs against Australia in the World Series.

But he could not even open the account in the next three matches.

The first duck came against Sri Lanka, then the next two zeros were made in the series against the Windies.
