On Sunday, February 12, 

 the men's pursuit race took place at the 2023

Biathlon World Championships in Oberhof, Germany.

According to the results of 

the sprint

 , four athletes represented Ukraine in it: Dmytro Pidruchny (5th starting position, +0:53), Anton Dudchenko (21st starting position, +1:54), Bohdan Tsymbal (29th starting position, + 2:08) and Artem Pryma (44th starting position, +2:37).

Pidruchny showed the best result among Ukrainians in the pursuit.

The captain of the Ukrainian national team took eighth place with two penalty rounds.

Norwegian Johannes Bö won the pursuit race.

"Silver" was won by his compatriot Sturla Legreid.

The three prize winners were closed by Swede Sebastian Samuelsson, who overtook Norwegian Tarje Bjo at the finish line.

Earlier today, the women's pursuit race took place at the biathlon world championships, where Yulia Jima

made a breakthrough

 and finished in the top 15.

The program of the planetary championship will continue on Tuesday, February 14, with an individual race for men.
