Ukrainian high jumper 

Yaroslava Maguchykh

 won the "Silver" stage of the World Track and Field Tour in the French city of Metz.

The bronze medalist of the 2020 Olympic Games conquered the bar at a height of 2.02 meters.

This is the best result of the current season in the world.

Yaroslava also broke the record of the tournament in Metz, which had been held since 2010.

The second place at these competitions was taken by Brit Verman from the Netherlands (1.96 meters), and the "bronze" was won by Ukrainian Yuliya Levchenko (1.92 meters).

Another representative of Ukraine, Kateryna Tabashnyk (1.90 meters), stopped a step away from the podium.

It should be noted that Maguchih won her fifth consecutive competition in 2023.
