The former light heavyweight world champion
Oleksandr Gvozdyk
finally learned the date of his return to the ring.
According to Luckypunch.net, the 35-year-old Ukrainian will fight Argentine Jorge Miranda on February 11.
This information was confirmed by Gvozdyk himself.
The fight will take place in the city of Pomona (USA) as part of the TM Boxing and MarvNation Promotions boxing show.
In his last fight, on October 19, 2019, Gvozdyk
lost the WBC title to
Russian Artur Beterbiev.
In June 2020, Oleksandr
announced
the end of his career, but after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he decided to return to the ring.
Gvozdyk has 17 wins (14 by knockout) and one loss.
His future opponent, Jorge Miranda, has 58 wins (22 by knockout) and 21 losses.
