Manchester United midfielder

Mason Greenwood

has  been cleared of all charges in the case of rape, beating and death threats against his girlfriend, model Harriet Robson.

This was reported by the Metro publication.

Greenwood

was arrested

 in late January 2022.

His lover

accused

the football player of domestic violence.

In her Instagram story, she published photos with numerous traces of beatings, as well as an audio recording in which she is forced to have sex.

In February, Mason

was released on bail pending

a further investigation, but in violation of the conditions of his release, the footballer was arrested again by the police on October 15, because he was in contact with the girl who accused him of rape.

"Given the extensive media coverage of this case, it is only fair to share the news that a 21-year-old man, arrested and charged in connection with an investigation that began in January 2022, is no longer subject to criminal prosecution in connection with hereby," said the head of the Social Protection Service, Mikaela Kerr.

We will remind, during the investigation, "Manchester United"

removed

the attacker from games and training.

The Englishman last appeared on the field in the EPL match against West Ham on January 22 last year.
