India vs Australia Test Series

India vs Australia Test:

Former Australian wicket-keeper Ian Healy said that if the pitch is completely helpful to the spinners on the tour of India, then the home team will have an upper hand but if the pitch bats and bowls If good for him, then his team will have a chance to win.

Both the teams will be face to face in the four-match Border-Gavaskar Test series (Border Gavaskar Trophy) in Nagpur from February 9.

Healy told 'SENQ Breakfast', "If they can prepare pitches that are good to bat on early and help the spinners as the game progresses, Australia will have a better chance of winning."

He said, “I am worried about (Mitchell) Starc and (Nathan) Lyon for the first Test. If the pitch there is like what we saw in the last tour, then the Indian team will be in a good position. From the very beginning the ball was taking unusual bounce and coming to a stop. I think the Indian team is better than us in such conditions."

Healy advised the young players of the team to bear the pressure and make fewer fielding mistakes.

He said, "I want the players to face that pressure (from the local team) instead of running away."

He said, "You will get 10 chances to take 10 wickets in India, whereas in Australia you can make 13 chances with the bounce and pace of the ball. You can make mistakes while fielding in Australia, but in India it will be very expensive." ."

Australia has not won any Test series (IND vs AUS Test) in India after 2004.

After Nagpur from February 9, the team will play matches in New Delhi (February 17 to 21), Dharamshala (March 1 to 5) and Ahmedabad (March 9 to 13).
