(Central News Agency) Liga Portugal 2 club Olivierens Sporting said today that it has signed Japanese player Satoshi Miura, 55, to continue his career in Portugal.

Miura, who turns 56 this month and will be entering his 38th season as a football player, will face most of his teammates under the age of 38, Reuters reported.

Zhiliang Miura's fans call him King Kazu, and Portugal will be the sixth country in his football career.

He has previously played in Brazil, Japan, Italy, Croatia and Australia.

He is currently playing for Japan's Yokohama FC team, and has been signed and loaned to Portuguese side Olivierens (Portuguese), where he will play until the end of the 2022-23 season.

Zhiliang Miura started his football career overseas because there was no professional football team in Japan at that time. He joined the Santos Football Club in Brazil in 1986 and signed his first professional contract in his life.

He played a total of 89 games for the Japanese national football team in his career, won the Asian Cup in 1992, was selected as the Asian Footballer in 1993, scored 55 goals for the Japanese national team, and was the second scorer in team history. The game is 2000.

Zhiliang Miura is the oldest scoring record holder in the Japanese league.

He has said that he will continue to play football until he is 60 years old.
