Following the tradition of the event, it will be held the week before the 87th US Masters. The competition system is 54-hole stroke play. After 36 holes, a promotion line will be set up. The top 30 (including tied) players can be promoted and enter the finals.

The first two rounds will be at Champions Retreat Golf Club and the final round will be at Augusta National.

For the 2023 event, one change is that the first two rounds will be broadcast live on Golf Channel from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm local time; the final round will be broadcast live on NBC Sports at 12:00 pm on the same day. 00 to 3 p.m., live at Augusta National.

Golf Channel's Live From the Masters column will be launched on April 1, and will successively broadcast the final of the Augusta Women's Amateur, as well as the junior cut and putt competition and the US Masters also held in Augusta.
