The Ukrainian national team won the second medal at 

the European biathlon championship

, which began on January 25 in Lenzerheide, Switzerland.

Anton Dudchenko became the silver medalist in the individual race.

Having made only one mistake, Dudchenko was able to finish in second place.

He lost only to the newly minted European champion - Norwegian Endre Strömsheim, who performed flawlessly on the firing range.

"Bronze" of the continental championship was won by Slovenian Lovro Planko.

Two more Ukrainians were in the top 20 – Artem Tyshchenko finished the race in 12th place, and Bohdan Tsymbal was 19th.
