[Sports Center/Comprehensive Report] Nets star Kevin Durant (Kevin Durant) accidentally injured his right knee while facing the Heat on the 8th of this month (US time). After examination, he was found to have sprained the medial collateral ligament (MCL) of his right knee , so absent so far.

Durant's injury will be re-evaluated in two weeks. He said in an interview today that he is willing to participate in the All-Star Game next month, but he needs to make a decision based on his physical condition.

"ESPN" reported that this is Durant's first interview since the injury. He said, "If I can, I want to play tomorrow. So this is where my sense of urgency is, obviously I don't want to rush, I want to make sure I can 100 percent, but I really want to play, I want to be a part of these games."

The Nets announced Tuesday local time that Durant will begin running and on-court activities before reevaluating the injury in two weeks.

This is the third time Durant has been injured in six years, and he has been injured for two consecutive seasons.

The Nets defeated the Warriors 120-116 in the previous game, but due to Durant's injury, he missed the match against his former club again.

Durant said, "I miss going back to Golden State, my old home, so I haven't played here for 3 years. You see these things, they all pass you by, so I want to participate in all I know I'm going to take my time, make sure I recover and get back on the court."

The Nets currently have a record of 29 wins and 17 losses, temporarily ranking fifth in the East. They have swallowed 4 losses in the last 6 games, but they have won 2 consecutive victories recently.
