After defeating New Zealand by eight wickets in the second ODI in Raipur, now a different dream has started growing in the eyes of Team India and crores of Indian fans.

And that is to become the world's number one team in the ICC Team Rankings in all three formats of the game (Test, ODI and T20).

India has already occupied the number one position in T20 and is on the verge of snatching the top position in ODIs as well.

In such a situation, if a little more emphasis is put, then no such reason is visible, due to which India cannot achieve this achievement.

Please tell that India currently remains the world's number one team in T20 with 256 points.

There is only one point difference between England (244) and India, but after the ODIs, another series win for India against New Zealand can deepen the gap.

At the same time, three countries have the same 113 points in the ODI rankings. 

England, New Zealand and India all have 113 points in the ODI rankings, but India needs a win in the last ODI against New Zealand to overtake England and grab the number one spot.

As soon as the Kiwis are eliminated, India will become the king of ODIs like T20.

After winning the series, India will have 114 points.

On the other hand, when it comes to Test rankings, there is a huge difference between Australia and India.

The Kangaroo team is the number one team with 126 points, while India is at number two with 115 points. 

However, Team Rohit can do this feat against Australia in the four-Test series starting in February next month.

And for this, India will have to beat the Kangaroos by a margin of 2-0.

As soon as this happens, India will become the number one team with 121 points, then the Kangaroos will slip to the second position with 120 points.

Overall, in terms of result in the series, India has to keep a margin of two wins.
