  • CA had decided not to play against Afghanistan

  • Michael Vaughan raised questions

New Delhi:

On Thursday, after the decision of Cricket Australia (CA) not to play the proposed ODI series against Afghanistan, where first there was a sharp reaction of Rashid Khan, now the rest of the world's giants have also jumped into this controversy.

After CA's decision on Thursday, Afghanistan's star cricketer Rashid Khan also threatened that he too would seriously consider playing in the Big Bash tournament.

Cricket Australia took this decision when the series was to be held in UAE.

However, after this decision of CA, former England captain Michael Vaughan has raised a very important question regarding this subject, which will be very difficult for Cricket Australia to answer.

Will the Australians refuse to play Afghanistan in the World Cup this year .. they didn't in the men's T20 World Cup a few months ago !?????

In fact, Cricket Australia, after consulting with its government, took this decision in protest against the poor treatment of women and girls after the Taliban rule in Afghanistan.

The Taliban had banned girls' university education.

ICC CEO Geoff Allardice also expressed concern over this move.

And Cricket Australia took the same decision behind the ban.

However, now the former England captain has come out in support of Afghanistan and questioned Cricket Australia's decision.

He asked whether the Australian team would stick to its decision even during the World Cup.

Along with this, he also cited the recently played T20 World Cup, in which both the teams clashed with each other.

Vaughan tweeted from the official account saying, "Will the Australia team refuse to play against Afghanistan in this year's World Cup as well? Didn't they do so in the T20 World Cup played a few months ago????? "

At the same time, on Thursday evening itself, Rashid Khan had said that if Australia are so uncomfortable playing against us, then he too would not like to make them uncomfortable.

And he will very seriously consider his decision to play in Big-Bash in future.

Rashid played eight matches for the striker this season.

After this he has joined Mumbai Cape Town in South Africa.
