On Thursday, January 5, the fourth stage 

 in Pokljuka, Slovenia, began with the women's sprint race.

Ukraine was represented in it by Anastasia Merkushina (4th starting number), Yulia Dzyma (7), Darya Blashko (44) and Anna Krivonos (69).

The best of the Ukrainian women was Jima, with clear shooting she took 19th place.

 Team leader Olena Bilosiuk missed the first race of 2023 due to illness.

Swede Elvira Eberg won the sprint.

The second step was taken by the Frenchwoman Julia Simon, and the Italian Dorothea Wierer rounded out the top three medalists.
