[Reporter Lin Yuefu/Taipei Report] Hsinchu Baseball Stadium was originally listed as one of the venues for the warm-up match of the WBC Classic in March this year, but so far there are still many deficiencies. The sports department, which is rebuilding the stadium, emphasized that there is still a final payment of 30 million yuan that has not yet been allocated. It will continue to track the progress and will not allocate funds until the acceptance of the stadium is completed.

In July last year, Hsinchu City’s baseball field was missing, causing players to be injured. The Sports Department, which provided a subsidy of 600 million yuan, immediately set up a task force and invited baseball and engineering experts to conduct a comprehensive survey and provide the city government with suggestions for improvement.

It’s just that the stadium still failed to pass the inspection after 5 months. The Sports Department emphasized that the stadium is under the jurisdiction of the Hsinchu City Government, so the inspection and acceptance must be carried out by the city government.

As for the remaining 5% of the amount that has not been allocated, which is about 30 million Taiwan dollars, the Sports Department will wait for the Hsinchu City Baseball Stadium to confirm the acceptance before allocating funds.
