The star Portuguese forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, became a curiosity at the press conference during his presentation at the Al-Nasr club, to which he
moved
on December 30, 2022.
During the conversation with journalists, the 37-year-old scorer mistakenly said that he will play in the Republic of South Africa, although in fact "Al-Nasr" is a club from Saudi Arabia.
"For me, there is nothing terrible in the fact that my career will continue in South Africa. I am not interested in people's opinion on this topic," Cristiano said at the press conference.

Ronaldo also made several loud statements.
In particular, he said that his career in Europe is over.
The Portuguese emphasized that he considers himself a unique football player and intends to continue breaking records.
"I had offers from Brazil, Portugal, USA, Australia. But I promised Al-Nasr that I would go to them. This is not the end for me. The Saudi league is very competitive. I know people don't realize that.
I am a unique football player, therefore the contract is unique.
I have broken all the records and will do so here because I am unique.
It's normal for me.
My mission in Europe is over - I played for the biggest clubs, won everything.
Now is a new challenge," Ronaldo said.
About 30,000 people attended Ronaldo's presentation at the "Mrsul Park" stadium.
Cristiano was greeted with applause and fireworks.

We will remind, Cristiano signed a contract with "Al-Nasr" until the summer of 2025.
In the new club, he will earn a "cosmic" 200 million dollars a year.
"Al-Nasr" became the fifth club in KriRo's career.
He previously played for Sporting Lisbon (2002-2003), Manchester United (2003-2009, 2021-2022), Real Madrid (2009-2018) and Turin Juventus (2018-2021).
The last club of Ronaldo was the English "Manchester United", which on November 22
announced
the termination of the contract with him.
This happened after
a high-profile interview
, in which the Portuguese "torn apart" the club and the head coach of the "Mancunians" Erik ten Gag.
Ronaldo's career at the new club will begin with
a two-match suspension
due to scandalous behavior during the Premier League match against Everton in April.
