[Central News Agency] Taiwan's recurve women's team defeated the South Korean team 6-2 earlier today in Sharjah, the third stop of the 2022 Asian Cup and World Ranking, and won the gold medal. Recurve mixed doubles Yang Kaihan and Su Shimin also Beating the Indian team 5-3 added another 1 gold, and Su Shimin won 2 golds.
The third station of the 2022 Asian Cup and World Ranking Tournament will be held in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The Taiwan team is led by coaches Wu Huiru and Tian Gang.

Taiwan's recurve women's team had a bye in the first round, narrowly defeated Mongolia 5-4 in the second round, and defeated Vietnam 5-1 in the top four. Today, they met the South Korean team in the gold medal match and won the gold medal 6-2.
After helping the women's team win gold, Su Simin joined Yang Kaihan in the mixed doubles gold medal match after a short break, and played against the Indian team Tisha Punia and Parth Sushant Salunkhe.
Taking advantage of the abnormal performance of the Indian team in the first game, Yang Kaihan and Su Simin scored a 5-point arrow and grabbed it 34-32, taking the lead in scoring 2 points.
Taiwan's mixed doubles team soared two 10-point arrows in the second round, winning 38-36 and taking the lead with 4-0 points.

Later, Li Caiqi will play in the bronze medal match in the recurve individual competition, and has a chance to add another medal to Taiwan.
