PAK vs ENG Another wonder of Babar Azam

Babar Azam: Pakistani captain Babar Azam has made

another special record in his name.

As a captain, Babar has now become the batsman to score 50 plus (50+) most times in a calendar year in international cricket.

By doing so, he has equaled former Australian captain Ricky Ponting.

Ponting was successful in playing innings of 50 or more runs 24 times in the year 2005 as captain.

At the same time, in the year 2022, Babar has also been able to score 50 or more runs in international cricket 24 times.

That is, Babar has equaled Ponting and in the coming Pakistani captain will have a chance to break this world record of former Australian captain.

Please tell that after the Test series against England, the Pakistan team has to play the Test series against New Zealand.

The New Zealand team will come on a tour of Pakistan and play a series of 2 Test matches.

The first Test match of the series between Pakistan and New Zealand is to start from 26 December.

In such a situation, it is possible that if Babar is successful in scoring a half-century during the first Test match, then he will break Ponting's record.

In fact, the Pakistani captain scored an inning of 54 runs during Pakistan's second innings in the third Test match being played in Karachi against England.

On the basis of this innings, Babar has equaled this special record of Ponting.

At the same time, Babar Azam has become the seventh batsman of Pakistan to score 1000 Test runs in a calendar year.

Before Babur, this feat was done by Mohsin Khan, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Yusuf, Yunus Khan and Azhar Ali.
