France's fourth World Cup final in seven editions

FIFA WC 2022:

In the second semi-final of the FIFA World Cup 2022 at the Al Bayat Stadium, France defeated Morocco 2-0 to enter the final for the second time in a row.

Goals from Theo Hernandez and Randal Kolo Muani secured a 2–0 win in the semi-final match.

On Sunday, Lionel Messi entered for the final with Argentina.

The first African and Arab team to reach the last four at the World Cup struggled despite injuries to key players.

This will be France's fourth World Cup final in seven editions and they will be hoping to become the first team since Brazil 60 years ago.

When they take on Argentina at the Lusail Stadium on Sunday.

It will be seen as a contest between Messi and his Paris Saint-Germain teammate Kylian Mbappe.

Morocco reached the semi-finals after defeating Belgium in the group league and then beating Spain and Portugal but, whether they could repeat the feat against France was another matter and coach Walid Regargui's plans were thrown into disarray by a number of injuries. Was left in turmoil.
