WBC heavyweight champion

Tyson Fury

will most likely undergo surgery before his unification fight with WBO, WBA, IBO and IBF title holder Oleksandr Usyk.

The "Gypsy King" announced this after the fight with Derek Chisora, in which he

successfully defended his belt

, winning an early victory in the tenth round.

It was previously reported that the fight between Usyk and Fury for the title of absolute world champion is planned to be held in February-March 2023, but due to the injury of the Briton, the fight will probably take place later.

"Will I fight Usyk in February or March? I might have to have surgery on my right elbow. The left one was done in October, so I have to finish it. I'll need about six to eight weeks to recover. We'll see when I can to be ready for the fight with Usyk," Fury said in an ESPN commentary.

We will remind, Usyk was present in the hall during the fight between Fury and Chisora.

After his victory, the British champion defiantly addressed the Ukrainian.

Oleksandr came closer to the ring and the future opponents
