PAK vs ENG 1st Test:
Pakistan captain Babar Azam scored his eighth century (Babar Azam Records) in the longest format of the game, showing a brilliant performance on the third day of the first Test against England.
During the second session of the day, Babar crossed the 100 mark, which was the seventh century of this ongoing Test and the third century from Pakistan.
So far the batsmen have scored runs on the pitch of Rawalpindi.
On the very first day of the match, four batsmen of England scored a huge score of 657 runs in the first innings, scoring centuries.
For Pakistan, openers Abdullah Shafiq (114) and Imam-ul-Haq (121) shared a 225-run partnership for the first wicket.
Babar completed his century on the third day of the Rawalpindi Test.
The Pakistan skipper reached the figure in 126 balls which included 14 fours and a six.
Pakistan ended the third day's play at a score of 499/7.
Azam was dismissed after playing an inning of 136 runs in 168 balls.
Former England captain Michael Vaughan praised Babar's innings on his official Twitter account and made a big claim about the batsman.
Vaughan wrote, "Class act Babar Azam. Nothing more sure than 100 for him on this pitch.. Best in the world across all formats.. #PAKvsEng."
