BCCI president received notice

BCCI's Ethics Officer (Ethics Officer) Vineet Saran has given a notice of conflict of interest to Board President Roger Binny.

to file a written reply by December 20 against the allegations of conflict of interest leveled against him, inform that the complainant Sanjeev Gupta has alleged that Binny's There is a conflict of interest as his daughter-in-law works for Star Sports which has the media rights for the domestic season of Indian cricket.

Saran said in the notice issued on November 21, "You are informed that the BCCI's Ethics Officer has received a complaint regarding the violation of Rule 38 (1) (a) and Rule 38 (2) of the BCCI which is in your interest." associated with conflicts.

An affidavit should also be filed in support of this response.


Binny, who was a member of the World Cup-winning team, became the 36th President of the BCCI in October.

He has replaced former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly.

Binny has played 27 Tests and 72 ODIs for India, as well as being a member of the 1983 World Cup winning team.
