The Russian national team

, which was expelled from international football due to a full-scale invasion of Ukrainian territories, found another opponent for a friendly match.

On November 20 in Tashkent at the Central Stadium "Pakhtakor" the national team of the aggressor country will meet the team of Uzbekistan, which occupies the 77th place in the FIFA rating.

The Russian Football Union (RFS) announced the holding of this sparring match.

It should be noted that finding a rival for the Russians has now become a huge problem, because almost no one in the world wants to play with the occupiers.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, which the Russian Federation unleashed against Ukraine, the Russian national team played only one match - in a sparring match, they beat the "top" Kyrgyzstan with a score of 2:1.

On November 17, Valery Karpin's wards

will

play a test match against Tajikistan in Dushanbe.

We will remind, on November 19 in St. Petersburg, the Russian team was scheduled to play a friendly match against the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but as a result of public pressure, the Bosnians

announced the cancellation of the game

.

Exclusion of Russia from international football

Even in the first days of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops, UEFA and FIFA

suspended

the clubs and national teams of the Russian Federation from participating in tournaments under their auspices.

In particular, Russian clubs were kicked out of the European Cups, and the Russian national team was

excluded from the playoffs for the 2022 World Cup

.

Subsequently, UEFA

extended the ban on clubs and national teams of

the Russian Federation.

banning Russians from participating in competitions in the 2022/23 season as well.

At the same time, we note that Russia has not yet been expelled from UEFA and FIFA.
