The Russian national football team

announced that it will play a friendly match with the Tajikistan team.

The match will take place on November 17 in Dushanbe at the Central Republican Stadium.

The future opponent of the Russians is ranked 108th in the FIFA ranking.

After the aggressor country was expelled from world football, the Russian national team can only beg for at least someone to agree to play with them.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the occupiers, the Russian national team played only one match - in a sparring match, they beat the "top" Kyrgyzstan with a score of 2:1.

Obviously, nobody wants to deal with a terrorist country.

The Russians were scheduled to play Bosnia and Herzegovina on November 19, but that game is likely to be cancelled.

Earlier it was reported that the majority of football players of the Bosnian national team

refused

to play with the Russian team.

Exclusion of Russia from international football

Even in the first days of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops, UEFA and FIFA

suspended

the clubs and national teams of the Russian Federation from participating in tournaments under their auspices.

In particular, Russian clubs were kicked out of the European Cups, and the Russian national team was

excluded from the playoffs for the 2022 World Cup

.

Subsequently, UEFA

extended the ban on clubs and national teams of

the Russian Federation.

banning Russians from participating in competitions in the 2022/23 season as well.

At the same time, we note that Russia has not yet been expelled from UEFA and FIFA.
