Some Ukrainian football players crossed the border of Ukraine during martial law as volunteers to make
transfers
to foreign clubs.
This was reported by journalist Andriy Senkiv on the KDK YouTube channel.
It is noted that 21-year-old Rukha midfielder
Oleksiy Sych
left Ukraine as a volunteer during his transfer to the Belgian Kortrijk, using the Shlyach system.
This is a mobile application from the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, with which drivers of draft age can cross the border if they are transporting humanitarian aid or medical cargo.
Under this system, you can stay abroad for no more than 30 days.
The journalist claims that it was also used by other players of the Lviv team:
Danylo Kondrakov
, who moved to the Lithuanian "Suduva" and
Roman Karasyuk
- to the Armenian "Pyunik".
Similarly,
Yehor Yarmoluk
managed to move from "Dnipro-1" to "Brentford".
In turn, the former "Zorya" midfielder
Vladyslav Kochergin
, who joined Polish "Rakuv" in the spring, did not cross the border according to documents, but is in Ukraine.
A similar situation happened with
Yurii Batyushin
, who moved from Metalist 1925 to Georgian Dila.
His departure from Ukraine is also not documented, but he left via Crimea.
The ex-player of "Zorya"
Valery Dubko
made a transfer to the Belgian "Dender".
He left Ukraine with the permission of the Lviv OVA, which the players of the Luhansk club received to leave on June 30 for a training session in Poland.
But later he did not return with the team to Ukraine, but became a player of the club from the second division of the Belgian championship.
Another former player of "Zorya",
Denis Favorov
, transferred to the club of the fourth Polish division "Vechyshtei", but he received permission to leave not from Lviv OVA, but from the head of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
We will remind that the former forward of the Ukrainian national team, Roman Zozulya, announced that he does
not currently plan to return to the field
due to the full-scale war with the Russian invaders.
