Let us inform that in the Diamond League Finals, Neeraj Chopra started with a foul but in his second attempt, he reached the top with a throw of 88.44 meters.

This is the fourth best performance of his career which eventually won him the gold medal.

He threw 88.00 m, 86.11 m, 87.00 m and 83.60 m in his next four attempts.

Olympic silver medalist Jakob Vadlage of Czech Republic finished second with a best throw of 86.94m.

He achieved this in his fourth attempt.

Germany's Julian Weber finished third with 83.73m.
