Suresh Raina announced his retirement from IPL and domestic cricket a few days ago.

Raina had announced his retirement from international cricket on 15 August 2020.

But now a good news is coming for his fans.

The left-handed batsman will be seen playing for India Legends in the upcoming Road Safety World Series.

Suresh Raina has shared a video on his social media (Suresh Raina Instagram) in India Legends jersey.

In this video, he is seen training wearing a tick on the field.

The 35-year-old can also be seen practicing in the nets.

Along with the post, Raina wrote, "Totally ready for the Road Safety Series."

The great batsman Brian Lara made a funny comment on this post of his.

Lara wrote, "Playing comfortably against us, please."

In the second season of Road Safety World Series, India's star players like Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Harbhajan Singh will be involved.

This tournament is going to be held in Kanpur, Indore, Dehradun and Raipur.

The competition will start in September and its final phase is scheduled for October.

The tournament will begin from September 10 in Kanpur where India Legends and South Africa Legends will clash.

The playing teams will include players from India, Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, West Indies, Bangladesh and England.

Raina has played 78 T20s, 18 Tests and 226 ODIs in his international career.

He scored 5615 runs in 226 ODIs with five centuries and 36 half-centuries.

He scored 1605 runs in 78 T20 Internationals with one century and five half-centuries.

Raina is the first Indian to score a century in all three formats of the game.

Raina was the main batsman of IPL team Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for many years.
