Thomas Tuchel said "everything went wrong" on Sunday after Chelsea lost 3-0 to Leeds - and added that the problems started with pre-match transport.

A mistake by goalkeeper Edouard Mendy gifted midfielder Brenden Aaronson the opener, before Rodrigo grabbed his fourth goal in three games to double their lead before half-time.

Chelsea struggled to gain any momentum at any point, and Jack Harrison dashed their hopes.

Kalidou Koulibaly was then sent off with five minutes to go before the end of regular time, capping what was a disastrous afternoon for the Blues.

Tuchel blamed several culprits for his side's subpar performances, starting with the trip to Leeds.

"Everything that could go wrong, went wrong," he told BBC Sport.

"It started yesterday.

We didn't have a plane to arrive so we came by bus.

The players could fly, but for the coaching staff it was a long bus ride."

"It continued even today.

We lost the game in the first 20 minutes, where we were clearly better and had great chances.

Lots of touches in the box but we missed the target and didn't get what we deserved.

Then we stopped doing what we were doing well and it was for 15 minutes and we gave two gifts in them".

"We didn't see it coming.

We got frustrated because we had a good start, we created big chances, but we got frustrated.

We conceded the first goal and then after the second we almost lost the game".

Tuchel believes his side were unlucky and the goals were down to their mistakes rather than Leeds' performance.
