Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was furious with Darwin Nunez's late red card in the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.

It was just 12 minutes into the first half when Nunez decided to head Palace centre-back Joachim Andersen in the face.

Referee Paul Tierney had no choice but to send the striker off.

Footage captured by Sky Sports showed his manager Jurgen Klopp's frantic reaction to the incident, with Nunez taking time to leave the pitch.

Despite having little reason to protest, he tried to plead his innocence, falling out with some of Andersen's colleagues.

At this point, Klopp asked captain James Milner to take Nunez off the pitch, with Liverpool still trailing in the Championship after the draw.

The German coach could be seen shouting at Nunez to get off the pitch and not waste any more time that would be needed for a comeback.
