Varun Dhawan meets Shikhar Dhawan

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan on Saturday shared pictures on social media with star opener Shikhar Dhawan and the Indian team leaving for Zimbabwe.

He also jokingly said that the Indian opener solved some puzzles with him.

Along with Varun Dhawan, his wife Natasha Dalal also posed with Team India.

The Jug Jug Jio actor tweeted, "4 in the morning I was like a boy in a candy shop. Very excited to meet the Indian cricket team and chat about their upcoming tour. Also Shikhar Dhawan Solved some riddles for me."

Dhawan and team are going to play in a three-match ODI series starting in Zimbabwe from 18 August.

The left-handed batsman will be the vice-captain in this tour, while KL will captain Rahul.

Earlier, Shikhar Dhawan was appointed the captain of Team India for the Zimbabwe tour, but the right-handed batsman was handed over the captaincy after KL Rahul was declared fit.

Team India flew for Zimbabwe on Saturday.

India recently played a white ball series against West Indies at their home.

In the three-match ODI series, India defeated the Caribbean team 3-0 under the captaincy of Shikhar Dhawan.
