In the Commonwealth Games 2022, India has a total of 40 medals in its account till 6th August.

Out of which 13 are gold medals.

Apart from this, India has 13 gold, 11 silver and 16 bronze medals.

India still remains at number 5 in the medal table of Commonwealth Games 2022.

The first medal for India came in weightlifting.

Stars like Vinesh Phogat, Ravi Dahiya, Naveen and Bhavna Patel did wonders to win the gold medal on Saturday (August 6).

Now the Indian team will try to put more medals in India's bag by performing well in the last two days of the game.

In the Commonwealth Games played in 2010, India had got the most medals

, let us tell you that in the Commonwealth Games played in the year 2010, India had the highest number of medals in the bag.

In that historic Games played in Delhi, India won a total of 101 medals, which is the highest number of medals won by India in the Commonwealth in the history.

In 2010, India did a wonderful job of winning 38 gold medals.

Apart from this, India had won 66 medals in the last 2018 Commonwealth.

In which there were 26 gold medals.

This time the Indian camp seems to be lagging behind its old record.
