New Delhi:

Athlete Anu Rani created history by winning a bronze medal in the javelin throw event of the Birmingham Commonwealth Games on Sunday, becoming the first female javelin thrower in the country to achieve this feat.

Rani finished third in her third attempt by throwing a javelin 60 meters away.
