Carlo Ancelotti detailed Real Madrid's ambitions ahead of next week's European Super Cup clash against Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Italian coach returned to Los Blancos last summer after a two-year spell in the Premier League with Everton, and he immediately led the team to trophies, leading them to triumph in La Liga and the Champions League.

In the process, Ancelotti became the first manager to win all five of Europe's elite leagues, a sign of his adaptability and quality in each championship.

Speaking to UEFA's media department, Ancelotti first discussed the state of Real ahead of their Super Cup match against Eintracht Frankfurt.

"My players will come prepared, being so professional.

We want to bring another trophy in the first game of the season.

We have six trophies to win and we want to fight for all of them", said Ancelotti first.

The Italian coach has reflected on Los Blancos' impressive season last year.

The team finished 13 points ahead of second-placed Barcelona and secured their 14th Champions League title.

"I am really proud, for myself and for Real Madrid.

It was extraordinary.

Returning to this club has given me a lot of pleasure."

"The fourteenth is still a fresh memory, a special chemistry was created with our fans.

All the comebacks we made in our stadium came thanks to the rise from the stands.

We won, apart from the quality, also thanks to the unity of the team".

He spoke about some of Real Madrid's dealings in the transfer market this summer.

"Rudiger and Tchouameni bring quality, we have signed two of the best in the world in their roles for physicality and technical ability."

Finally, Ancelotti gave his thoughts on Eintracht Frankfurt and their last season.

"They deserved to play for the Super Cup, as they did something extraordinary last season.

They were not favourites, but they won thanks to excellent games, and they even beat Barcelona at Camp Nou on the counter-attack."

"It was fantastic to see them win the Europa League in this way, they will definitely cause us difficulties", concluded the coach of Los Blancos.
