England striker Alessia Russo scored a stunning back-heel goal against Sweden to help the Lionesses reach the Euro 2022 final.

Russo came off the bench in the second half when England were already leading the game 2-0 thanks to goals from Beth Mead and Lucy Bronze.

However, the Manchester United striker made an immediate impact, scoring a superb goal.

After scoring in the 57th minute, Russo scored the 'best goal of the tournament' in the 58th minute.

After seeing her initial shot saved by Hedvig Lindahl, Russo took the ball back and scored with a brilliant backheel finish through the Swedish keeper's legs.

Fran Kirby added England's fourth goal minutes later, sealing a 4-0 victory.

But it was Russo's goal, her fourth of the tournament, that got English fans and fans around the world talking on social media.

A moment of genius.
