Bruno Fernandes has no problem with Erik ten Hag's new rules at Manchester United, even saying the team needed them.

The Dutch coach has imposed fines on players for being late to team meetings and events during their pre-season tour of Australia.

Man United have won three out of three friendlies and Fernandes believes Ten Hag's approach is having an impact.

"We lacked that for a while and discipline is important."

"Discipline is not only the way you play, the position you have, what you have to do, is also outside the field.

Don't be late for meetings, don't be late for meals."

"This is really important because if everyone is on time and someone is late, they should be punished.

It's really good that he's doing it and it's amazing, because I like to be on time, so I won't have any problems with that," said the Portuguese.

Bruno Fernandes said Man Utd players "missed" the level of discipline Erik ten Hag has brought back to the club but this TalkSPORT pundit says ten Hag is "overdoing it".

Believe me, these people will run out of Twitter engagements the day Utd ceases to exist 😂
