Hamburger SV has prematurely extended the contract with the Albanian defender Valon Zumberi.

The 19-year-old centre-back, who had a contract valid until the summer of 2023, has signed a professional contract valid until the summer of 2024.

Zumberi has been part of Hamburg since 2010 and has played in all new categories.

"HSV has shown me a clear path over the last few years and implemented it together with me.

I was able to develop step by step as a junior and for that I am very grateful to the whole team", defender Zumberi said.
