Our boxer, Shpejtim Bajoku has won the bronze medal at the "Oran 2022" Mediterranean Games that are being held in Algeria.

Bajoku proved even tonight that he has a bright future, despite the fact that the victory in the end went to the Algerian, Jahia Abdelli, who had the strong support of the local fans.

The bout was the semi-final of the 63kg category in boxing at the Oran 2022 Mediterranean Games.

Our boxer won the first round, but according to the judges, the following two rounds went to the Algerian.

However, Bajoku secured the bronze medal last night, the first for the Kosovo Boxing Federation in the Mediterranean Games, a medal which he will accept in the following days.

Kosovo has five medals to date, two gold and bronze from judo and one bronze from boxing.
